Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus:
The amazing phone is in the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus which we tested the most impressive ‘Middle Child’ handset – and probably the best pound, pound S20 phone for the period. This phone will become very popular a few times. It’s a powerhouse that packs the best parks of its siblings and strikes the perfect balance between them. Samsung has priced the Galaxy S20 + above the entry-level S20 by placing it as a somewhat awkward interior model in its current lineup, but not as enthusiastic as the S20 Ultra. The Galaxy S20 is very easy to adopt. Over the past few years, Samsung has achieved something unique in the world of Android that consistently produces a great flagship phone without huge flaws.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5G smartphone runs on the Android V10 (Q) operating system. The phone is powered by an Acta-Core (2.73 GHz, Dual-Core, M5 Mangoz + 2.5 GHz, Dual-Core, Cortex A76 + 2 GHz, Quad-Core, Cortex A55) processor. It runs on Samsung Exynos 9 Octa 990 chipset. It has 12GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Design:
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is a slightly larger flagship smartphone than the Galaxy S20 series devices. Like the other two models, the S20 plus comes with a glass-metallic sandwich design with a premium finish and quality building. Larger than the standard S20, smaller than the S20 Ultra Otherwise, the rectangular camera blocks the soft glass shell. The Bixby button is gone but the 3.5mm headphone jack. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus doesn’t look much different than its predecessor. But it’s the smoothest device in a long line of flash ships – and that’s not a bad thing.
In terms of size, at least, it seems to be the closest parallel we can draw. And 151.7 x 69.1 x 7.9mm, 163g it is only 2mm longer, 1mm shorter size 6g heavier than last year’s Galaxy S10 (149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8mm, 157g). Title, part of the 6..7-inch AMOLED display with Summerphone Monitor QHD + resolution, it is protected by 2.2D curved Corning Gorilla Glass protection. A small five-hole or an infinity-head has been cut, BD has been determined from the high screen. All in all the phone looks premium and light in weight. It is one of the first smartphones to support a 120Hz 2K AMOLED display. If you need a bigger screen with a higher refresh rate, this is what your smartphone should get.
It is thinner with hair than the standard S20. Corrosion? Pump the volume on the dual top and bottom speakers and the whole rear cover will vibrate. They kept the audio respectable, although we still have the Google Pixel 4 enabled which has not found the sound projection and stereo balance that is at the top. With a significant push from a 3,400mAh to 4,000mAh battery, the S20 is clearly pushing battery tech to the top. An obvious advantage from sticking to the same overall opal aspect is that the glass sandwich design at Samsung’s end is already quite perfectly dial-in. In particular, the S20 is a well-balanced phone and sits very comfortably in the hand.

The Samsung S20 Plus comes with a flagship camera setup, support for a 64M telephoto lens, a 12MP wide-angle lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens for 8K video recording at 24fps and 4K video recording at 60fps. When it comes to photography, the camera offers dedicated night mode and it also offers 3x optical zoom and can also click native 4MP images simultaneously. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus packs a trio of rear cameras, plus-of-flight depth sensors. While the original and ultra-wide lenses haven’t changed much from the lenses associated with the S10 Plus, Samsung has enhanced the telephoto lens for much more fidelity than its predecessor’s capabilities.
S20 Plus Camera
Samsung is certainly true that recent advances in perceived photography have resulted in immediate faster improvements than advanced hardware solutions in mobile photography. Contains MP4 telephoto. Equipped with respectable front f / 2.0 lens and OIS. Nicknamed Space Zoom for short, these new hyper optic zoom and super-resolution zoom features will get a lot of attention in S20 publicity campaigns. On the S20 and S20 Plus, which share most of their camera setup, these two features provide 3x and 30x hybrid optical zoom, respectively.
Photography aside, the other great feature of the S20 Plus (along with its siblings) is the ability to capture 8K video at 24fps. This is much more realistic than a showcase feature, given how a few commercially available displays can actually display video in 8K but you can go down to 60fps in UHD (aka 4K, 3840 x 2160), as well as FHD if you choose But do regular HD.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Display
- 6.7-inch AMOLED display, WQHD+ (3200 x 1440) resolution
- 120Hz refresh rate, but only at FHD+ resolution or lower
- The in-screen fingerprint sensor is lackluster
Samsung has decided to equip the three Galaxy S20 devices with Flash QHD +, HDR 10 +, Dynamic AMOLED displays. Considering the diagonal difference of the display, its technical meaning is that the regular S20S sits at 56 + 525ppi and is the fastest at 563 PPI. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is sharp and vibrant with WQHD + resolution (3200 x 1440). The display is a shadow longer than the S10 Plus ’QHD + (3040 x 1440) screen, probably due to the lower bezel at the top and bottom. The three Galaxy S20 models have a native panel refresh rate 120Hz and 240Hz touch pole rate. And yes, if you thought jumping from 60Hz to 120Hz could make a huge and instantly noticeable difference in UI smoothness.
S20 Plus Display
You must see it in person. It’s also great to see that Vanilla S20 buyers don’t have to miss this feature either. You won’t see any difference if you don’t leave these phones up to 120 phone hearts with the S20 Plus compared to the 90Hz fastest refresh rate of the Google Pixel 4, OnePlus 7 Pro or Razr Phone 2. One thing to note about the high refresh rate, though, is that 120Hz is only accessible in full HD resolution. In the current setup, Samsung is fairly confident that any S20 phone running on FullHD, 120Hz will still allow full-day battery life.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Performance:
- Snapdragon 865 chipset in the US, Exynos 990 elsewhere
- 12GB of RAM (unless you opt for the 4G-only, which has 8GB of RAM)
- 128GB or 512GB storage options
S20 Plus 5G
- Connects to both mmWave and sub-6 frequencies
- This makes it more 5G-accessible than the standard Galaxy S20, which is sub-6 only
- Our top speed on US carrier Verizon’s mmWave 5G: 1.38Gbps
The Galaxy S20 Plus connects to both the MMWave and the Sub-6 5G network, making it one of the first mainstream phones. This number may increase with the release of more phones in 2020 with the feature but still, theoretically, it is an interesting option. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is the first great opportunity for mainstream customers to get 5G on their smartphones. Only 1% of smartphones shipped in 2019 are 5G phones and most of them are expensive variants of 4G flash ships.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus is basically 5G by default – in some markets you can buy a 4G version of the phone as specified, but 5G is the norm, and the download speed averages 200 Mbps, in some parts 6x more than the 4G speed in the world.
It certainly depends on the availability of 5G in your region from your supplier, but even if it is not yet, Samsung is backing down on proven connections of the future.
S20 Plus Battery
- 4,500mAh capacity – in casual use, lasts nearly two days – though 120Hz and 5G could eat that up faster
- 25W fast charger in the box
- Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 + Wireless PowerShare to lend charge to other devices
The smartphone also has a 4,500 mAh battery with support for fast wireless charging and regular fast charging. This phone also supports reverse wireless charging, which can be used to charge accessories and smartphones that support wireless charging. Since it has a slightly larger screen, the battery life will be almost identical between the Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S20 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus packs a 4,500mAh battery, included binging video, scrolling through Twitter, taking photos, and playing a few games. The phone includes a standard 25W USB-C Samsung charger in the box, and it also supports Fast Wireless Charging 2.0.
